After breakfast depart to the Christian city of Madaba, also known as “the City of Mosaics” for it has the oldest known mosaic map of the Holy Land. We will visit St Georges Church and of course the mosaic maps. Then off to view the Jordan Valley from the famous Mount Nebo and visit its Byzantine Church.
Continue our trip down to the lowest point on Earth: the Dead Sea! It is located 400m (1,312 ft.) below sea level in the Jordan Rift Valley, known for its dramatic, beautiful landscape. Enjoy the rest of the day to relax at the private beach of your hotel, cover yourself in mud, and defy gravity in the salty water.
