You will meet our OUTstanding tour guide in the morning and drive north along the coastal road to Caesarea, the ancient Roman capital and port. Enjoy a walking tour of the theatre and the archaeological ruins and excavations. Continue to Haifa, Israel's third largest city, located on the slopes of Mount Carmel. Home to both Jew and Arabs, it’s a melting pot of culture and ideas. You'll have the chance to appreciate the beauty of Haifa with a scenic view of the city, the port, and the magnificent Bahai Gardens and Shrine – a world heritage site which is home to the Baha’i faith. Drive to Acco, the Old City recognized by UNESCO as world heritage site. Walk through the market, visit the mosque and the old port, the remarkable underground Crusader City and crypt and learn about their fascinating history and culture. Then proceed to Rosh Hanikra natural reserve – right on the border with Lebanon – where the turquoise Mediterranean meets the white limestone cliffs and creates magical coves and grottos.
