DAY 1: NAPLES
With a private transfer, arrive to your hotel from Naples Airport.
Start your vacation with a welcome drink at the hotel.
Rest and refresh and continue to the welcome dinner at a local restaurant.
DAY 2: NAPLES TOUR
After breakfast meet your guide and start the walking tour of Naples. Walk through the famous Spaccanapoli, before continuing to the Royal Palace, the Spanish Quarters, the Maschio Angioino, San Severo Chapel and Capodimonte Museum (entrance fee included).
After lunch stop at Gay-Odin, the historic artisan chocolate factory in Naples where you can try special local pastries and sweets. Visit Naples Underground and travel to the past, a world 2400 years old. Every historic epic, from the foundation of Neopolis, to the bombs of WWII, has left its mark on the walls of the yellow tufa stone - the soul of Naples from which the city was built.
Continue to the famous Piazza Bellini, a bustling Piazza in the center of the city where you can find a multitude of gay friendly restaurants, cafes, and bars and the heart of the Gay night life of this city. Greet the Neapolitan evening with an aperitif at a lounge bar, followed by dinner with a real Italian pizza.
At night, put on your dance shoes and hit the DEPOT Club or The BASEMENT Clubs!
DAY 3: CAPRI
After breakfast head to Naples Harbour from which you will board the hydrofoil to Capri island, a hotspot for European gay life from the early 20th century. A private transfer will take you to your hotel.
Start your tour of the island with first stop to Anacapri where you will have the chance to visit the famous Villa San Michele and the Church of San Michele. Then continue to the center of Capri, where you will have lunch in an exclusive breathtaking location near the sea. After lunch have a short walking tour in the narrow streets with its glamour boutiques, Villa Jovis and the Augustus Gardens with a fantastic view of the Faraglioni cliffs. Afterwards, if weather allows, continue to the Blue Grotto (entrance fee included).
Dinner in Capri which is the home for fabulous seafood and fish restaurants.
DAY 4: SORRENTO – POSITANO
Following breakfast at the hotel get transferred from Capri to Sorrento by the hydrofoil.
After settling in your hotel start of your walking tour at this precious village, with its typical narrow streets full of artisanal shops, tasty flavors and beautiful views on the Tyrrhenian Sea. After lunch and some Limoncello tasting, continue to Positano where you will have time to explore it for yourself and have dinner before getting back to the hotel.
DAY 5: POSITANO - AMALFI
After breakfast visit Positano, a pastel resort town perched on the cliffs, renowned for its romance and elegance. Follow the footsteps of many famous writers like Shelley, Goethe, Steinbeck - walking through its narrow streets. A drive along the Amalfi coast road will take you to Amalfi, a beautiful village with 11th century cathedral of St. Andrew. A walking tour of this village will show you this beautiful little town. Afterwards, if weather allows, discover by a boat the famous Emerald Grotto, discovered in 1932 by a local fisherman, an underground cavern famous for its translucent, turquoise-blue waters.
Drive back to the hotel for dinner at a local restaurant and an overnight.
DAY 6: RAVELLO – VIETRI SUL MARE – MINORI
Following breakfast depart to the village of Ravello, the garden town, considered one of the most romantic and beautiful small towns in southern Italy. Perched on steep, terraced slopes, it is a place blessed with lush gardens, quiet lanes with its 11th-century cathedral and Villa Rufolo. Built in the 13th century, the villa's guests have included popes and kings, as well as Richard Wagner, who composed part of his opera Parsifal here in 1880.
Visit Vietri sul Mare, a city which is a true explosion of colors and flavors, worldwide famous for the ceramics. Later, cook your own dinner with your pizza cooking class with a private chef in Minori. Head back to the hotel for an overnight
DAY 7: POMPEII - VESUVIO
After breakfast head to Pompeii, under the imposing Volcano Vesuvius (entrance ticket included). Explore the city which was frozen in time under the volcanic ash.
The walking tour is with a particular focus on the sexuality in Pompei. After lunch greet the Vesuvio Volcano which is best known for its eruption that led to the burying and destruction of the Roman cities of Pompeii, Herculaneum, and several other settlements.
Continue to your hotel for a farewell dinner and an overnight.
DAY 8: NAPLES
After breakfast, transfer back to the airport in Naples for your flight back with everlasting memories of breathtaking Italy!
