TRIP PLAN

Arriving at Cairo International Airport for your Cairo and Nile Cruise tour couldn’t be any easier because your assigned tour guide will be right there waiting for you when you arrive. You will be assisted in every way possible, and then you will be driven in style to the hotel where you will be staying for the next two nights.

At the hotel, you will be assisted with check-in, a pick-up time will be confirmed with you for the next day’s tour; you will be offered a complimentary "Welcome" Drink on us, and then we will leave you alone to enjoy the remainder of your first day as you wish.

Enjoy breakfast at your hotel in Cairo and then you’ll be met by your personal guide and one of our drivers who will accompany you to the world famous Giza Plateau to visit one of the seven wonders of the ancient world: the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chefren and Mykerinus. This is also where you will come face to face with the famous Sphinx and the Valley temple which faces this great iconic statue.

Enjoy a superb lunch at a good local restaurant, and then you’ll be driven to visit the Egyptian Museum and its Treasures Room of King Tutankhamen. You will also have the option to visit the Royal Mummies Room at the museum, but admission to this room is not included in the tour price. After the museum, continue to Coptic Cairo for a visit to the Hanging Church and the Ben Ezra Synagogue. Finally, end your sightseeing day with a visit to the fascinating and lively Khan El Khalili Bazaar which dates back to 1382.

Enjoy breakfast and then check-out from your hotel. You will then be transferred to Cairo International Airport for your flight to Luxor. On arrival in Luxor you will be met and taken to board your Nile River cruise. After lunch on board the boat, you will have the rest of the afternoon free to enjoy yourself as you wish while the cruise ship sails to Esna.

Tonight you will be sleeping on the water at Esna!

Enjoy your breakfast on the river while you are sailing to Edfu. On arrival at Edfu, you will disembark and you’ll enjoy a visit to a beautifully preserved Ptolemaic Temple dedicated to Horus at Edfu. This temple was buried under the sand for more than 2,000 years, and as a result, it is today the best-preserved ancient temple in Egypt. After visiting this remarkable site you will return to the ship and sail to Kom Ombo.

You will have the remainder of the afternoon for yourself. Afternoon tea will be served later in the day, followed by another fine dinner in the early evening. There will also be an Egyptian Galabya party on board the vessel this evening, and you will spend the night on the water at Kom Ombo.

Get off to an early start today when your cruise begins sailing towards Aswan. Enjoy a good onboard breakfast, and then shortly after that, you will arrive in Aswan and you will be taken to see the spectacular Aswan High Dam, and also the indescribable ancient Temple of Philae.

Shortly after lunch, you will once again disembark, and you’ll enjoy a very nice trip onboard a traditional felucca boat to admire Aswan’s beautiful botanical gardens from the water. Later, you will return to your cruise ship; you will have some time for yourself, and then dinner will be served.

Have the entire day to yourself to enjoy as you wish. As usual, breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner will be served on board the ship. There will also be a very entertaining Nubian folkloric show in the evening, and this will once again be spent on the water at Aswan.

Today your ship will once again get off to an early start, with breakfast being served on the river while sailing to Kom Ombo. On arrival at Kom Ombo, you will disembark, and you will be taken to see the Temple of Sobek, dedicated to Sobek, the crocodile god, and Horus, the falcon-headed god. After spending some time at this remarkable ancient temple complex, you will return to the ship, and it will sail to Esna via Edfu with lunch being served along the way.

Enjoy plenty of leisure time, followed by another fine dinner in the evening, and a good night’s sleep on the tranquil waters at Esna

Today gets off to an early start, with breakfast being served on the river while sailing to Luxor. On arrival at Luxor, you will be disembarking, this time for a fantastic tour of the West Bank’s best ancient monuments. During this tour, you will visit the Valley of the Kings, an ancient necropolis where more than 70 royal tombs have been discovered, including the royal tomb of Ramses VI and the royal tomb of King Tutankhamen.

Next will be another fascinating visit, this time to the magnificent rock-cut Temple of Queen Hatshepsut. Finally, you will enjoy a brief visit to the Colossi of Memnon, and then you will make your way back to the cruise ship in time for your lunch.

The remainder of the day is yours to enjoy as you wish. Spend the last night of your unforgettable Nile cruise on the water at Luxor.

Wake up to another splendid onboard breakfast, and then you will disembark for a short trip to Luxor’s East Bank where you will visit the ruins of the ancient Karnak Temple complex. This sprawling complex took more than 2000 years to complete. Next, you will visit the equally impressive Luxor Temple which is surprisingly well-preserved.

At the appropriate time, you will be transferred to Luxor airport where you will be boarding your flight back to Cairo. On arrival at the airport in Cairo, your tour manager will once again meet you, and then escort you to the hotel where you will be staying for the last night.

Sadly, your magnificent Cruise and Cairo package has now come to an end, and it will soon be time for you to board your flight back home. However, first enjoy one last breakfast in Egypt, and don’t worry about a thing because your tour manager will meet you at the appropriate time to make sure you get to the airport on time for you flight back home. You vacation may have come to an end, but you will be leaving Egypt with memories that will live with you forever.
