Departing Tel Aviv domestic airport early morning, we will rise up to the air and overlook the sunshine washing the Mediterranean city of Tel Aviv for another new bustling day.
Head north above the Sharon district, the populated area of Israel, with the deep blue Mediterranean on one side and endless open spaces of urban and natural landscapes on the other.
Hover above the raw shores of the sea and discover the rocky, unpopulated terrain on your way to the evergreen Carmel Mountain. Situated at the northern part of Israel, this mountain is the home for many villages, Arab and Jewish, and the third largest city of Israel – Haifa.
Head further north, till the meeting point of Israel and Lebanon, to RoshHaNikra natural reserve. This unique natural phenomenon formed thanks to the Mediterranean waves crashing on the white limestone cliffs which create magical coves and grottoes. Land nearby and explore the beauty of the clashing waves and the steady steep slopes with the cable car, ascending the beginning point of the walking trail (ground time – around 2 hours).
Back to the air, you will be headed south along Israel’s coastline, meeting Acco. The city’s old part is recognized by UNESCO as a world heritage site and the home for both Arabs and Jews.
On the other side of the Haifa Bay lays the city of Haifa. Being a large mixed city of both Arabs and Jews, this place has become a melting point of cultures and ideas.
Built on the slopes of Mt. Carmel, Haifa is the right combo between the sea, the mountains and busy urban life.
Finally, half way to Tel Aviv, say hello to the city of Caesarea, one of the oldest cities of the Roman Empire and see from above the famous Roman amphitheater and ruins – a silent testimony from the past.
Arrive back to Tel Aviv domestic airport late afternoon.
